Nov. 13, 2009 - Rear Admiral Joseph A. Horn, USN, has relieved Rear Admiral Alan B. Hicks, USN, as the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Program Director, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense. In ceremonies Friday, Nov 13, at the Washington Navy Yard, Horn also assumed command of the Navy’s Air and Missile Defense Command. Rear Admiral Hicks retired during the ceremonies, and Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, served as the keynote speaker and host. (MDA Photo)
