Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Next Generation Interceptor

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) proposes to test, deploy, and operate a Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) to enhance the defense of the U.S. against intercontinental ballistic missile attack. The NGI would be an advanced interceptor fully capable of integration into the current Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system.
